First post of the year. Exciting stuff!
My parents came over for Christmas and New Years, so I’ve been spending a lot of time in Davis, since Gio Linh has the biggest place of the three siblings. We’ve been crashing here, mostly spread around the living, rotating between the couches and the inflatable mattress nightly.
Anyway, since my parents have been over, I’ve been feeling a lot of pressure to cheat, especially from my dad. I think I’ve had more meat in the last week than in the previous three years put together. We had prime rib last night, and steak tonight at Buckhorn’s Grill in Winters. I don’t even know why I had any today… I was physically ill after dinner last night.
Maybe it’s time to change up the diet for good.
