Memorable Muse

When I went to the dentist yesterday, I went by a memorial for Playland-at-the-Beach.

I didn’t know that’s where Playland used to be. (I thought it was further up the coast.) Then again, I knew basically nothing about Playland until the Playland-not-at-the-Beach Section Service project. One of the best projects I’ve done! How can you beat building an amusement park?

One for the memorial boards was for the Laughing Sal animatronic thing that was restored at Playland-not-at-the-Beach, and I have to say, I’ve never really had an issue with clowns (like It didn’t bother me), but I can see why so many people (especially the original Playland generation) are scared of them. Thing is creepius maximus!

I just remembered that when we were working on Playland-not-at-the-Beach, Richard told us we could come back for free when it was all done, but I haven’t gone.

Reminds me of old Roll Calls, except on crack. New choreographers, please take note.

Behind Schedule

One of my life goals is to donate 50 gallons of blood.

I’m pretty far behind schedule, so I went this morning.

That’s me saving lives and repping Luong Class.

Afterwards, in the mandatory refreshments area, I made myself a ghetto grilled cheese and tomato soup for lunch.

It was actually tomato juice and Goldfish.

Oh, and I noticed that the refreshment area has all of the (non-alcoholic) ingredients for wikis. I wonder if that’s a sign.
