Dinh vs. Dinhternet

I’ve been told by a lot of people that I seem different online versus in person. It’s not really a conscious change in persona, but I can see what they are talking about. I think that part of the reason IM is my favorite mode of communication is that I feel most comfortable expressing myself through text. I don’t know why, but I always feel like an incredibly awkward conversationalist.

Anyway, I’ve also been told by people that I can be quite spammy on the social media front (particularly on Google Buzz, which isn’t smart enough to combine reposts across different services like FriendFeed can).

All I can say is, be thankful I’m only spammy online. You wouldn’t me all up on you like this in real life, right?

  1. Why is will in that comic? And why don’t you start spamming people in real life? You should start dropping in on people and work and just be like, JUST CHECKED IN!!!

  2. That would definitely take FourSquare to the next level. “I’m major, bitch!”

  3. I’m a lot different online than I am in person as well! :D

  4. How so? And which do you prefer?
