Time for another Hacker’s Diet update.

So far, I’ve lost 29.8 lbs of measured weight (2.5 lbs in the last week) and 26.6 lbs of “real weight” (2.1 lbs in the last week). When I was doing the family challenge, I had still only lost 16 lbs at this point.
I still had some problems with portion control, but doing better than last week. More willpower still needed, though. I’m also going to try this diet plan. I’ve done some of it already by cutting out fatty meats and not drinking calories (except my protein shake, but that counts as a meal for me). Luckily, I don’t get sick of foods easily, so the lack of variety shouldn’t be much of a problem for me. Hopefully I can get back on track to hit my goal before my birthday.
The 100 Push-ups and 200 Sit-ups Programs are still going strong, and I think I’ve gotten some other people to try them. (I’ve heard of Will N, Vince T, and Joe M checking them out.) If you are doing the programs, drop me a comment and let me know how it’s going!

A friend of mine is suggesting I use Flavor Magic Portion Control Sheets, which she describes as basically a portioning guide that also seasons the food. Kind of like the “palm of hand” rule, but more accurate. Does anyone have input on this one? She claims it is working for her with home cooking. I want to give it a shot but it looks like it is only available online.
I have not heard of that product before, but I will look into it.
