Hacker's Diet Update - Week 11

Time for another Hacker’s Diet update.

Hacker's Diet Week 11
Weekly loss: 2.1 lbs. — Daily deficit: 1033 calo­ries.
You will reach your goal of 155 lbs on 2009-​05-​12. (234 days early!)

So far, I’ve lost 27.3 lbs of mea­sured weight (2.2 lbs in the last week) and 24.5 lbs of “real weight” (2.0 lbs in the last week). When I was doing the fam­ily chal­lenge, I had still only lost 14 lbs at this point, and was back­slid­ing then, too.

I had some trou­ble watch­ing my por­tions this week, but got bet­ter towards the end. Let­ting myself slip with all the snacks around the house; must be more vig­i­lant. :P I need to get myself back on track to hit my goal by my birth­day. The 100 Push-​ups and 200 Sit-​ups Pro­grams are going well. I can def­i­nitely feel my strength increasing.

I started fol­low­ing Tim Fer­riss on Twit­ter because he is donat­ing $3 to char­ity for every fol­lower, but he’s posted some inter­est­ing stuff on weight loss and mus­cle gain that I want to try. Must read the arti­cles more thor­oughly and see what I can incor­po­rate into the plan.

  1. GO DINH! I remem­ber when we did wrestling for a very brief fresh­man year. The train­ing was GRUESOME and was con­sid­ered the tough­est con­di­tion­ing I have ever done. I have no idea how you went through those first cou­ple of days. I’m glad you’re on track and wish you the best of luck hit­ting your goal :!:

    Yeah, I wish I could still han­dle the wrestling work­outs. That would get me to my goal in no time.
