Man, working at Gray & Prouty is losing some of its new car smell. Today just seemed to drag on and on.
Good news, though! I got my first paycheck from them today. Too bad it all goes to paying off my credit card. Gas and food racks up fast when I commute between Sac and the Bay. In the last two weeks, I’ve put over a thousand miles on my car, and I need an oil change again now.
Oh, and eating out all the time when I’m down in the Bay doesn’t help. I need to get my schedule together enough to plan ahead and cook for myself. Getting more settled in the Bay is my top priority right now. I’m thankful to Jeremy J and his parents for offering to let me stay at their place, but I think I need to find something closer to San Jose. I found out that my commute to Millbrae is shorter from San Jose than it is from San Ramon, and I spend all my time outside of work hanging down there anyway, so it would just be easier.
