Always Outnumbered Never Outgunned

Just a quick note because I’m off to SJ soon.

What is it about nice round numbers that’s so appealing? I actually re-thought the 100 Items Project and pondered for a long time if I could pull it off. I still don’t think I can hit 100, but I really want to see just how close I can get.

And on the subject of round numbers, Will N and I decided we’re both going to try to do 100 Push-Ups. It’s a six-week training regimen that makes you able to do a full set of 100 push-ups. Will N’s already halfway there, though. He does two sets of 50 push-ups twice a day. I only do a single set of 18 push-ups a day right now with the Fitness Ladder, but I’ll add the regimen on top of that and then substitute once I’m done.

Oh, and there’s a sister site to that now called 200 Sit-ups. I should try that, too, but I have an even harder time with sit-ups than I do with push-ups. I find that whenever I push myself to max out my sit-ups, my abs hurt so much I can’t do any sit-ups at all for a day or two. Hopefully this regimen will get me to finally push myself past this limitation.
