My lack of focus is causing some problems. I’m trying to find a job right now to hold me over, but my psych degree doesn’t mean much, and my computer science skills aren’t good enough to get a job in that field, either.
I do have two little programming projects going, though. First one is Assassins for the APhiO site. Should be simple, just need to update existing code to reflect Aaron L’s new rules. Second one is another diet site for my family, based on the Hacker’s Diet that I’ve been doing. That one should be more interesting. It’s going to be based on the Hacker’s Diet WordPress plug-in, but also combined with some of the features from my original family weight challenge site and including some features that the plug-in author hasn’t implemented yet, including switching from JPGraph to YUI Chart, which is a lot more “Web 2.0.”
If only I make a living on projects like that.
