My lack of focus is caus­ing some prob­lems. I’m try­ing to find a job right now to hold me over, but my psych degree doesn’t mean much, and my com­puter sci­ence skills aren’t good enough to get a job in that field, either.

I do have two lit­tle pro­gram­ming projects going, though. First one is Assas­sins for the APhiO site. Should be sim­ple, just need to update exist­ing code to reflect Aaron L’s new rules. Sec­ond one is another diet site for my fam­ily, based on the Hacker’s Diet that I’ve been doing. That one should be more inter­est­ing. It’s going to be based on the Hacker’s Diet Word­Press plug-in, but also com­bined with some of the fea­tures from my orig­i­nal fam­ily weight chal­lenge site and includ­ing some fea­tures that the plug-in author hasn’t imple­mented yet, includ­ing switch­ing from JPGraph to YUI Chart, which is a lot more “Web 2.0.”

If only I make a liv­ing on projects like that.
