So I joined Twit­ter!

First thing I did was to turn on the fea­ture that mes­sages my phone if I haven’t updated in 24 hours. I want to write more reg­u­larly, and I’m hop­ing Twit­ter will help with that. I’m a lit­tle wor­ried about post qual­ity, and if twit­ter­ing (tweet­ing?) will change my Word­Press post style. Not that I have much style at the moment, any­way, so it’s not that big of a con­cern. Also, I’ve heard of peo­ple get­ting “addicted” to twit­ter, both in tweet­ing and fol­low­ing other people’s tweets.

I’m also hop­ing this will allow me to post in a more “on the go” style. Some­times, I’ll be out and about, and sud­denly get hit with an idea or just see some­thing cool. I’d make a men­tal note to post about it when I got home, only to com­pletely for­get about it five min­utes later. Now I can take advan­tage of the nice key­board and shitty cam­era on my phone to make sure I cover those ran­dom things before they get lost for­ever in the Great Unknown.

As an added bonus, any posts I write here will be linked in my twit­ter feed, so you can fol­low that if it’s more con­ve­nient for you than RSS.
