For those of you not in the Sac area, or just don’t read Sac-area news -

After Sacramento was declared one of the most water-wasteful places in the world and the Governor declared a drought in the state, a couple who let their lawn die in an effort to save water has been fined $746 for breaking city aesthetics code.

All I have to say is screw aesthetics. What do people need lawns for anyway?
