Sorry I’m not posting as much, guys. I’ve been kinda avoiding my computer now. Between work and studying, I don’t have much free time, but when I do, I try to spend it with family. Been playing video games with the cousins and cards with the adults a lot.
Yesterday, though, was my first non-family outing in Minnesota. I met up with the Minnesota Metro APO Alumni Association and we went mini-golfing at Moose Mountain in the Mall of America. It was actually my first time to the Mall of America since I’ve moved up here, and years since the last time I had visited. I found out that Camp Snoopy, the amusement park in the middle of the mall, was gone, due to some licensing issues. They re-themed everything into Nickelodeon Universe. Here’s a picture of the park, as seen from the golf course. Peggy will enjoy because there’s a Pineapple House that you can actually enter. For the rest of you, I point your attention to the tracks of the rollercoaster in front of Spongebob’s house. I don’t know what the official name for it is, but I like to call it the “Brain-Buster.” Note where the track goes in the upper right corner of the picture.
The course was small, but challenging. Maybe it had something to do with the fact that I haven’t mini-golfed in over ten years. But I got +20 or so over the course. The other alums were cool folks. Seems like they are a small group, but close considering they only meet up once every month or two. I was the only Asian person there, and the youngest by far. I want to say the next youngest were older than me by about ten years, and Dennis, the first person I met, pledged before I was born. Here is a picture of us at Chevy’s after. Yes, we’re drinking with letters on. Oh, and we’re planning on doing a service project together soon!
Anyway, I’m picking up Smash in an hour. Don’t expect to hear from me much.

I miss seeing you around.
Awesome that you met someone who pleged before you were born.
Will you come visit anytime before August?
seriously… i only see one person drinking with letters on HAHAHAHA
SO? Did you go in?
Now I only watch Spongebob (Yes, the complete seasons of 1, 2 and 3) when I clean the house. Growing up sucks. (but I still enjoy them… they just kill my braincells a bit.)
