So my rampage through the bookstore has been halted temporarily.
I only brought one book with me down to SoCal — Stephen Colbert’s I Am America — And So Can You!. It’s entertaining, but only good in small doses. If you are unfamiliar, it’s like his show, but longer. The downside is that I can only take so much satire at once, so I only read a chapter or two at each sitting. I should be done by the time I get to San Diego.
The other thing I brought down with me was the most recent issue of Wired. The last issue made me interested in another book. I’ll have to pick up a copy when I head back up to Davis.
