I’m an uncle! Well, actu­ally a first cousin once removed, but in Viet titles, I’m an uncle.

A lit­tle after com­ing out of my final today, I got a pic­ture text mes­sage from my cousin Quynh Chau, who just deliv­ered a baby girl last night at 2:35 am CDT. Eva Lu Sper­raza is the first baby to any of the cousins on my mom’s side of the fam­ily. Chi Ba uploaded pic­tures to Face­book, so I had to set­tle for steal­ing those low qual­ity ones. Enjoy!

By the way, “Uncle Dinh” has a weird ring to it. In Viet, I would be “Cau Tuong.” Still weird, but a lit­tle better?
