Bad Habits Die Hard

So we’ve been in school for less than a week and I’m already having trouble. Yesterday, my head was bobbing all throughout POL 162. And I wrote down the wrong time for my PHI 1 discussion, so I missed it entirely.

I did get to go to Costco yesterday… besides the usual food, picked up Halo 3 to go with the XBOX 360 that Eddie and I just split, as well as a board game chest for the living room. It’s Monopoly, Scrabble, chess, checkers, dominoes, and poker dice in a nice wooden box. I expect to get a lot of play time out of both of those.

And then there was class today… I forgot my phone in the living room last night, so I overslept and was a bit late to my 8 AM class. The professor who stutters is bugging me more now. Not just the fact that she stutters, which I’m getting better about ignoring, but her class is really… unstructured. She stops after every slide to see if anyone has questions or comments, or just want to say how they feel about things. These little breaks can take longer than the time we spent on the actual slide. And then the next slide will be what people had just rambled about for the last five minutes. AND she keeps reiterating how personality psychology isn’t really her field, and that she’s reading the book just like we are. Oh, and her TAs’ comments seem more insightful than her own. I just want my professor to explain the material to me.
