Today was the first meeting of the term, and I was pretty nervous. I had done all my homework reading in the morning, and by afternoon, I was kinda anxious… I did a bunch of random APhiO–related tasks, and walked over to talk with Jimmy a lot. At one point, he asked me, “Are you just pacing until the meeting?” I guess it was that obvious. Oh, and I drank a lot of water today, too, because I felt slightly sick, and fluids tend to help in that department. But a full bladder all day long certainly didn’t help with the butterflies in the stomach.
The meeting went pretty well. I got through the dedication without tripping over my tongue. Considering the fact that it was CPPC, I think things moved along very nicely. Wish there was a bit more discussion, as well as a bit more turnout, but hopefully those things will pick up as the term goes on and people get comfortable. I should have encouraged it more at the beginning, though. I know new actives are always pretty shy.
Came home and did a bunch more random APhiO–related stuff. Now it’s time to pass out. But first, the quote of the day… comes from last night when I checked my AIM messages as I was about to pass out.
“Boo, you got to see Stacey! And hi, how are you?”
— Lillian.
Scary stalker status!
I was expecting a revolution!
On the drama-scale, this CPPC barely registered. CPPCs should be like the Roman Senate: If someone doesn’t get stabbed, everyone goes home disappointed.
CPPC eh? Sounds fun. And Lillian does stalk with the best of them huh?
On a side note, I think you should move the comment bar to the bottom of the post. I like to read the post before I decide if I want to comment or not… And I think everyone else does too?
