Lu Godliness?

So the oddest thing happened today. I was sitting in CoHo chatting on my laptop and with the people sitting around me, trying to hype up Scavenger Hunt tonight. Out of nowhere, a guy taps me on the shoulder and says that he and his friend were sitting behind me and noticed that I was running Linux. He wanted to come over and say hi. I was like, “Uh… OK.” And shoke his hand.

After he left, everyone was like, “Does that happen to you often?” (No, that was a first.) “So what’s better about Linux, anyway?” was another popular question. I could take all day answering that. But to keep it short and simple, I’ll just tell you to try it out for yourself. I have a LiveCD where you can just pop it in and run Linux. If you like it, you can install it, if not, just pop the CD out and reboot. :)

Oh, and the random guy… he’s in my SOC 1 class. I wonder if he recognized me.

One more thing… the title of this post refers to LUGOD, the Linux Users Group Of Davis.

OK, I guess that’s it for now. :)
