The Bold And The Beautiful - Week 6

This update is a cou­ple of days late because I was back in Sac on Mon­day and I wanted to use the scale I have at the apart­ment. I fig­ure, all scales are inac­cu­rate, but if I use the same inac­cu­rate scale, at least I’ll be pre­cise. :) Then, when I came back to the apart­ment, I a) had a midterm to cram for, so I should be avoid­ing dis­trac­tions like post­ing here; and b) had for­got­ten my lap­top charger back in Sac, so I couldn’t post even if I had wanted to be dis­tracted. :)

Any­way, it is now five weeks into the chal­lenge, so I’m in between offi­cial weigh-​in weeks. Last week, I weighed in 205, post­ing my first gain since the chal­lenge started. Yes­ter­day morn­ing, sur­pris­ingly enough, I weighed in at 203. I thought going home for New Years was going to elim­i­nate, if not reverse, any progress I had made. I think a com­bi­na­tion of start­ing up my exer­cise pro­gram again and good por­tion con­trol for meals (even extremely yummy ones at home!) led to my suc­cess. I had to force myself to eat only a medium bowl of food at each meal and have lots of water and fruit between meals. Gotta keep up the good work for another week so I can keep my lead in the game!
