The Biggest Loser

So my extended fam­ily is hav­ing a “Biggest Loser”-style challenge.

  • We decide on an ideal weight, and put in $2 for every pound between our actual weight and that.
  • Offi­cial weigh-​in is in a week, after every­one sets their ideal weight.
  • Weigh-​in once a week and put in $2 for every pound GAINED since last weigh-​in.
  • Con­test ends at Thanks­giv­ing 2007.
    • Every­one takes back $2 for every pound lost, but no more than what they ini­tially put in.
    • Per­son who lost the most over­all takes the rest.

Sounds fun, and a good moti­va­tor for me, so I’m gonna try to lose fifty pounds. Any advice would be greatly appre­ci­ated! (I really don’t want to lose $100!)
