For some reason, my mom was really riding my sisters and me about calling up relatives to thank them for gifts this year. This led to an interesting conversation we had as dinner was winding down.
“Di Nga is still up, go call her and thank her for her gifts!”
- Mommy.
“But we haven’t even opened it yet; how can we thank her when we don’t know what she got us?”
- Gio Linh.
“I know what she got you. Isn’t that good enough?”
- Mommy.
Yeah… I dunno what that was all about. My sisters and I have a theory that it’s because we recently scaled back our family plan from 2,000 minutes to 1,000, so she’s being stingy with calls, which is why she wanted us to call over the weekend instead. But is T-Mobile so stingy they don’t give free minutes on Christmas?
EDIT: Yes, T-Mobile IS that stingy. Damn Scroogey bastards.
