The Comeback

OK, second post of the day… I’ll be writing about yesterday now. Let’s see…

Woke up around 8 and hopped on the computer to take care of some business. Joe M was getting ready for class, and asked why I was always up early if I didn’t have anything to do. Good question. Got ready, had oatmeal for breakfast again, and made myself a nice lunch of grilled cheese sandwiches. Caught the bus to school with Peggy and Po C.

It was a very APhiO day of classes. First in PSC 101, I sat next to Liz, and then Susan Z and Eric AY sat by us, too. Cat P is in that class, too, but she didn’t come in time to get a seat by us. (We were in the very middle, so it’s hard to save a seat.) Then in PSC 100, Marissa and I sat together, and Emily L and Clint sat by us. (Chellee’s in that class, too, but I didn’t see her that day.) After those two classes, stopped by the MU for a bit. Saw a bunch of folks tabling outside for Service Fair. I chatted for a bit, and then went home.

Took a short nap, and then I drove Peggy to her class. I wasn’t going to go back onto campus until my class, but hers is pretty interesting, and I like to sit in on it. In fact, quote comes from that class.

Ugh…”

- Everyone in class after the professor made a lame joke.

Hey now, don’t go ‘Ugh…’ ! It’s not my fault. Being funny wasn’t part of my PhD program. They used to hire joke writers for all of us back in the 70s, but had to fire them due to budget cuts, and now I have to come up with my own material!”

- Prof. Berger.

That guy… he’s a good prof. I’ll definitely take that class for real if I can. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, he caught me reading a book in class, and was like, “Damn, I can’t even compete with that book? Is it that good? What’s it called? What’s it about?” And then he insisted that I finish it by Monday and give a two minute book report to the class on it.

After that was time for my PSC 168 class. The material was pretty dry for the most part. Peggy keeps insisting that her professors are more interesting and entertaining then mine. But then she busted out some good stories about stuff psychopaths say when subjected to the Rorshach Test. Them crazies sure are crazy!

Drove home after class and played Halo for a bit until Peggy got out of her LOXi meeting. I guess she’s going to rush them. Even though at the info night meeting, she got one of the LOXi potentials to consider pledging APhiO instead. The two of us had dinner, and then watched TV for a while. She went to sleep because she had class today, and I played more Halo until I couldn’t keep my eyes open anymore.

  1. It’s LOXi! Hehe.

Not only Peggy, but Leslie and Tonga are probably going to pledge for us. It’ll be cool =)

Cassandra, the girl that Peggy talked to about Aphio, also asked me which she should do. I said either, or both, but not at the same time. She was like , “Well, I thought about LOXi because it’s small and I don’t want something big, but APhiO is co-ed.” :drop:
