Yesterday…
Woke up — yeah, even in person I didn’t that great of job of keeping Peggy up and studying
ops: — and took Peggy to campus early. Stopped to get some gas, and then went home and passed out for a bit.
Woke up again and went online. Wrote a post and saw that Peggy was back from her midterm, so I talked to her for a bit. We had to cover some housing issues. Joe M wanted to go get lunch, so we invited Drew so we could talk about housing with him, too. Oh, and Minh T was there on his lunch break. But we took so long, he had to box up his food and go as soon as it came out.
Back home, put up my random lunch post and talked online some more. Will N watched some more GTO, but I swear he’s seen every episode already, so he’s just randomly playing his favorites. Couldn’t take it for very long because I don’t like re-watching or re-reading stuff until it’s been long enough that I’ve forgotten most of it, and Will N’s had it on repeat the last couple of days.
Read some more of the Batman — No Man’s Land novelization that I started re-reading last night at Peggy’s. It’s an interesting perspective… you see stuff that wasn’t really in the comic books. Bummed online and kept checking if someone updated their Xanga or something, but no one did. Checked for new episodes of animé or chapters of manga, but nothing on that front, either. One of my three usual webcomics was updated. That entertained me for a bit. Went through every blog I have bookmarked. Joz is so interesting. I don’t know why I don’t check her more often.
Talked to Mommy Van about Psych classes I’ll be taking in the Fall. She’s quote!
“Oh, the extra credit in that class is basically a book report. I did mine while I was kinda drunk and got full points.”
- Mommy Van.
“Wow, that’s a lot to live up to, mom. I’m not sure if I’ll be able to follow in your footsteps.”- Me.
“I set my standards high to challenge you guys.”- Mommy Van.
What a great mom, always setting the bar just a little bit higher, pushing her kids to do better than she did.
Now I’m gonna have to get so drunk I black out before I type my report.
After that, I took a shower and went down and made myself dinner and watched some TV. More of the AMC Bond marathon. Last night’s Bond du jour was Live And Let Die. It was alright, but I think Roger Moore is probably the worst Bond, action sequence-wise. Oh, and of course, the big gripe I have about that movie is that Solitaire is supposed to be black, but that was too controversial, so they had a white actress play her in the film.
Got a call from Peggy around when the movie was over. She had finished up her shirts, so I told her to come over and hang out. Jackie came, too, and the three of us watched Ring 2. It was pretty lame. Stupid Americans can’t do anything right. Peggy passed out, and Jackie and I watched Madagascar because she hadn’t seen it before, and that way, she wouldn’t be thinking about Ring when she went to sleep.
Jackie went home after that, and I joined Peggy in the passing out.
Oh, since I couldn’t back up my old site’s database before it imploded, my Ring stories are lost, but I’ll probably write a post soon covering the weird shit that happened when I watched the video.

I liked Roger Moore!!! You’ve read James Bond? I didn’t know they changed a Bond woman from black to white. Lame!
