OK, second post of the day… let’s see how many days I can through today.
So… Tuesday… Anh Bi asked if I wanted to play Literati as soon as I came online in the morning. I think I got him hooked.
Jackie signed on from work a little after that, so we played with her, too. Anh Bi owned again. Around 2 or 3 we stopped, and I fixed myself something for lunch and watched XXX 2. I can never see Ice Cube as a Navy SEAL. And it goes downhill from there. Towards the end of the movie, I got a surprise visit from the moms. Quote comes from that visit.
“Hey moms, what are you doing here?!”
- Me, very surprised.
“We biked all the way over here just to visit you! Don’t you feel special? Don’t tell Peggy, OK?!”
- Mommy Tang.
“… Actually, it’s because we’re biking around town at the hottest time of day, and I forgot to bring a water bottle.”
- Mommy Van.
Man… and I felt so special and loved, too. But I still gave them the water they wanted, since I’m a good son. It was even in cups that matched their clothes! After that, they invited me to swim with them at Chaparral, so I felt semi-loved again. Finished up the movie (I always have to, even if it’s a really bad movie) and headed over there.
Swam from 5 until about 8. It was great. Mommy Tang had to leave early to go to the KVIE volunteer appreciation dinner, but Jackie and Michow came by after that. Mommy Van got hungry and asked Jackie to feed her poolside like a dolphin.
Back home after that… Peggy and some others went to see Mr. and Mrs. Smith, but I had already seen it since I thought everyone saw it the week before, while I was still in Minnesota, so I didn’t go with them. Instead, watched Assault on Precinct 13 at home. Also wanted to watch Banlieue 13, another Luc Besson movie, but I couldn’t find English subtitles for it. Sucks… it looked interesting… the camera-work of the opening sequence was pretty nice.
Then I went to Sophia C’s to help her with PhotoShop and pick up some food she meant to give me the day before, and then to Will Oh’s to get the Windows XP CD I needed to reformat Kitty’s computer. Called Kitty up to see what she was doing, and she was watching Love Actually at Mommy Tang’s. I went over there and caught the end of it. (I got there as the girl started singing at the school play.) After we finished the movie, the Chaparral girls starting playing the Kelly Clarkson music video on the DVD over and over. Apparently it’s tradition for them to play it at least five times straight. Kitty and I declared that Suntree can’t handle that shit and went home.
Didn’t have much to do, and it was hot, so I passed out.
By the way… I just got the new Harry Potter from Peggy, so I don’t know if I’ll be online for a while.
Parkside could probably handle that shit.
