Roll Up And Shine

OK… more quotes as I wait for my laundry! :)

Tuesday… woke up around 8:30. Wanted to say bye to Amber, but wasn’t sure where to find her. Bummed around online. I don’t remember the details, but I’m pretty sure Literati was involved. Maybe Yahoo Pool, too. That’s Jackie’s new thing. Yahoo Games will be the death of IPhi. :)

Joe M came over in the afternoon and we watched anime and ate taquitos. It was good. (Every time I think of “taquitos” I think of Gir saying it. I found my Invader Zim vol. 3 DVD, by the way. It wasn’t lost with my old backpack. I think I need to bring them to Minnesota and indoctrinate the little cousins with them! :twisted :) Oh, and Joe brought those awesome melon popsicles from the Korean store downtown. They are frozen liquid delicious. The anime wasn’t bad, either. Well, actually, the Naruto was. Damn filler. Why won’t they just follow the damn manga?! Bleach is still pretty exciting, though.

Joe M had to leave to go teach Julie C to drive stick, but then Sophia C and her little brother Justin came over. But the only reason she was in town was for work… so did she drag her brother to work with her? Anyways, she wanted to eat, so after much discussion (you know how we roll), we went to Woodstock’s. I was still stuffed from the taquitos (Hehe! Gir!), but I sipped a soda as they ate. The dinner topic was high school academics. Sophia C was telling us about how Justin wasn’t exactly the most studious kid in class, and Eddie C and I reminisced about our old high school study habits. Or lack thereof. I’m sure we gave him a lot to think about. Like the DD/SD story.

Back to the apartment after Woodstock’s. Sat around and tried to find something else to do. Sophia C got frustrated and left for home home again. Alison and Linh came over, but they were planning on kidnapping Will more than hanging out with us. The movie they wanted to see wasn’t $4, though, so they decided to go to Mai’s and watch Sex and the City. Will decided to go with us instead to see Star Wars. Got to the theater as the movie was supposed to start, and there was a fat line. Will and Angela were a couple of spots in front of us, and Rob showed up a little after us, too. I’ll review the movie in a separate post. Oh, and I got a poster of Darth Vader doing the Force Grip with the caption “Who’s Your Daddy? Star Wars III - Father’s Day 2005″ on it. Nice! :)

After the movie, Will took off… somewhere… and Jeremy and Eddie C went to Victoria’s friend’s surprise birthday party. I stayed home. Good thing I did, too, because I had to take care of some service stuff. Never thought it’d be so hard to fill two man shifts, but Davis is a ghost town this week. After I took care of that, just chatted and stuff until 3 in the morning with someone whom I won’t name in this entry.

… OK, I lied. She’s quote.

“I learned how to change my oil today!”

- Peggy.

“Cool, wanna change mine?”

- Me.

“Hey, I’ll teach you to change your oil!”

- Peggy.

“I know how, I just wanted you to do it for me.”

- Me.

“Why? And get motor oil all over my face?”

- Peggy.

“What? I never said that. … Did you do that today?”

- Me.

“No!”

- Peggy.

And then she changed the topic. :)

Anyways, passed out at 3.
