Man, I really feel like reading some American comics right now, but unfortunately ZCultFM, the site I used to get them from, started requiring donations. So instead, I’m going to update again. Huzzah!
Yesterday… woke up early and took Will N to campus. Made sure Peggy was up for her 8 AM final. Back home and watched more Samurai Champloo. Peggy finished her final early and came over to watch the rest of It, because apparently the movie is long, so you have to flip the DVD halfway through. I didn’t know because I had passed out when we were watching and when I woke up, it was back on the title menu and she was leaving, and she hadn’t seen it before, so Peggy thought it was just a crappy anticlimactic movie.
And after that we watched May. The first time I saw that movie, I stopped it ten minutes into the movie and deleted it. It’s not particularly scary. Just the main character is incredibly… weird. As Peggy put it, she’s very twitchy. It kinda hurt for me to watch it, because she was so socially awkward… it was like me, only a hundred times worse. Anyways, Peggy says she loves the movie… it was very happy and is possibly the best movie she’s ever seen. While I did enjoy it, I don’t think it was in the same way or to the same extent that she did. And yes, the ending is strangely happy.
After the movies, Peggy went home to pass out, because she had almost pulled an all-nighter. I went back to the computer, and Kitty invited me to Jamba Juice with her. I needed to go to the bank to make a deposit, so I figured I would just use the Safeway branch. Little did I know the hassle I was about to get into. Apparently, I hadn’t touched my account in a couple of months, so Wells Fargo closed it. So what would have been a one-minute transaction became over a half hour of them making me re-open the account. I’m gonna have to ask Joe to look over everything and make sure it’s all on the level after his finals. Oh, and Safeway had sprinkle doughnuts, but Kitty didn’t want one anymore.
Went home, and Kitty had to go study, so back on the computer for me. Watched the last few episodes of Samurai Champloo. Didn’t like the ending too much. Ironic, because when I first watched Cowboy Bebop, I didn’t like the sad ending, but it grew on me after a while. And this time, the series ended on a good note. So who knows? Maybe this one will grow on me, too.
Chester wanted to play Literati after that. I put together a game of IPhi’ers for him, and then he ended up not playing with us. Had two or three games without him, and then I stopped because I had a headache. Then he comes back and asks if I’m still playing. That guy!
Talked online for a bit, and went over to Peggy’s because we both need to get planners. went to OfficeMax, but they didn’t have anything we liked. Tried Rite Aid, but same deal. Went to the Davis Commons Study Break, but didn’t feel like eating anything. We checked out Borders and Papyrus for planners, but found nothing. Chilled outside with everyone for a while, and then some of decided to go eat at Chipotle, so the fellowship pretty much ended.
Gossip madness from the girls as we were eating. I’m sure we made a great impression on Ryan, Joey’s friend who he’s trying to get to pledge for Gamma Gamma. Thu was hating on the Tight/Loose hook-ups, and wants to split Light family up and force inbreeding upon Tight family.
Went to Walmart with Peggy and Izzy after that on the continued search for a planner. Got what I wanted and followed the girls around the store with the cart.
Back home once again. Wrote up a post. Felt like taking a walk, but I decided to pass out early instead. Oh, and yesterday’s quote comes from the many IMs I got last night…
“I wanna play Literati. Tim wants to play, too.”
- Esther.
“So, I hear you want to play Literati.”
- Me, to Tim.
“What? No…”
- Tim.
“You tricked me! He doesn’t want to play.”
- Me, to Esther.
“Yes, he does.”
- Esther.
“Literati? I whooped on three people today.”
- Chester, who just days ago called me a nerd for even suggesting that game.
“Literati?”
- Aaron L.
“No Literati for me.”
- My away message.
“No Literati? Why do you resist?!”
- Drew.
Man… all that, within make ten minutes, too. It’s official. Literati is the new IPhi craze. It will soon replace the Cube. But yeah, I decided not to play last night, and sleep instead.
Man… I forgot how long the front page gets when I do five real posts back-to-back.

where is that from? The word, “huzzah!” My friends from class use it as their catchphrase. But I have no idea where they came up with it.
