OK, looks like I have some free time ahead, and access to my cousin’s computer, so time for another update. Whee!
So… Thursday. Woke up early since I went to sleep early. Lost a lot of my work on the Assassins kill circle, and didn’t particularly feel like trying to redo it all. Instead, I went online for a bit. Sophia C informed me that she got off work at 4 and would be over to watch Lost and Grey’s Anatomy. Spent the morning listening to music and clearing out some space for her to sit on my bed and watch stuff later.
After I finished, started watching Oan Hon, or Spirits, with Eddie C and Will N. Only saw the first “story,” though, because Sophia C came and got scared. We went upstairs and watched the rest of the season of Lost. Wow. That is seriously the second-best show on TV right now. And the cliffhanger was awesome… I can’t wait until next season. While Sophia C agrees the show is good, she’s not sure what they can do next season, since the background stories have all pretty much been explained. All that’s left is for them to be rescued. I think they can still milk the survivors/“Others” conflict for a good while. Oh yeah, and quote comes from us commenting on the show -
“You need rest.”
- Kate to Jack, on Lost.
“No.”
- Jack.
“You need rest.”
- Sayid to Jack.
“No.”
- Jack.
“You need rest.”
- Sun to Jack.
“… OK.”
- Jack.
“That’s right… always listen to the Korean woman.”
- Sophia C.
After that, Eddie C, Sophia C, and I went over to Kitty’s and had dinner with her and her roommates. Watched House of Flying Daggers again because some people hadn’t seen it yet. If I could have a picture of the day instead of a quote of the day, it would be Kitty’s weapon. It’s even better than her cleaver from last time. And it doubles as a fan on these hot, hot days! Joe M and Jeff came over a little later, too. Then the “Celebrate Davis” fireworks show started, but Eddie C, Amber, and I ran off because Mommy Van called us to tell us to go to Café Bernardo’s with her.
At long last, we got there early enough to actually drink, and it was good. Well, it was already good for Mommy Van. She was… tipsy when we got there. Wanted her to drink more with us, but she didn’t love us enough.
Eddie and I down two wikkis, though. It was my first wikki ever. I liked. I think I would have liked more if I hadn’t seen the bartender make it, though. Man, I didn’t realize just how much alcohol was in it. But it definitely covers well.
After Café Bernardo’s, we went to Jack-in-the-Box for some late night grub. Then over to Avalon to chill in the hot tub for a while.
Finally went home and passed out around 2ish.
