Are You Still Having Fun?

So to backtrack a bit, you’ll remember that on Tuesday night, I thought the last thing I did was to sit down on the couch after Minh T coached me in the bathroom. I figured so because I woke up around 7 yesterday in about the same position, but with a sleeping bag on me. Oh yeah, did I mention I woke up because I felt like heaving some bile? Yeah… did that every half hour or so until around 9. Tried to sleep some more but couldn’t really get sleep, I’d just lay there with closed eyes until 10, when my alarm went off. I was supposed to pick up Amber from the airport. As I had been laying there, didn’t feel the greatest, and thought more than once about calling someone up and asking them to pick her up instead. But I had no idea who to call, seeing as the last thing I remember, everyone and their mom was messed up. I even had a daydreamed false memory recollection kinda dealie (did that make sense to anyone but me?) about having asked Michelle J to do it before I passed out in the first place. But that was just stupid.

Yeah… so getting back to the story… my alarm went off at 10, and I decided to tough it out and do it myself. First I drove myself home and took a shower. Unfortunately, my roommate was in the process of using it with her boyfriend. I went online, still groggy and with a growing headache. Luckily, I thought ahead and grabbed fluids before I left Joe M’s place. 7-Up was my best friend. Every sip made the headache go away. It was awesome. So yeah, after my roommate got out, I hopped in there and showered as quickly as possible. Too bad she used up all the hot water, too. Soaking in the hotness usually makes me feel a lot better. And much more alert, as well.

Yeah… went to the airport, picked up Amber, and took her back to her place. Went back to mine and checked up on everyone, and asked around to see if anyone wanted to get food and/or Jamba Juice with me. We ended up going to Applebee’s, then Jamba. After that, went back to Joe M’s place to help him clean up. Brandon had already made good headway the night before, but seeing as how Joe M seems have no cleaning chemicals and no vacuum, it must have been tough indeed. We got a bunch of stuff at Long’s Drugs, including a replacement tongue scraper for one of his roommates, because someone jacked it? A tongue scraper? Why?!

But yeah, after that, Ian dropped me back at the apartment, where I was planning on getting some sleep. Couldn’t fall asleep, though. I hate that. Steph Liu called me up after that and asked me to come to ExComm Retreat, because Erik wasn’t going to be able to make it. I didn’t really want to, because I still feel Erik is the boss, and I’m not really worthy of being co-webmaster. Went anyways, though. It was weird. Oh, I also went because Peggy needed me to pick up Kaplan flyers, since she was chair for flyering today. I thought she meant from Alice C. But no, it was from the Kaplan office downtown. When I found out from Alice C, I rushed over there right before they closed. Back to ExComm Retreat, which lasted until 11:30. Much later than I had expected. Oh, and Erik showed up, so I wasn’t needed at all. Back home to try to rest up flyer. And to make up for a day of exhaustion. But onlineness sucked that away from me until around 1:30.

Hmm… what should be yesterday’s quote? So many jokes at lunch, but they’re all TAK retreat-related. I guess I’ll make it drinking related.

Wow, you and Dinh say you’re both fine. Geez!”- Jackie, talking to Joe M in the morning.
“Yeah, we’re beasts!”- Joe M.

Of course, the REAL beast is Peggy. :)
