I have a headache right now because I showered before I went to sleep, so my memory’s a little off.
Yesterday morning… woke up and got ready to go to campus. Even packed myself a lunch! (Baldo’s leftovers.) I actually baught the bus, too, so no walking to school like a sucker. Chilled at CoHo for days. Yesterday’s quote comes from random CoHo conversation about marriage pacts -
“If I don’t marry by 30, I’ll die!”- Jenny L.
“If we’re both single at 60, I’ll marry you.”- Jenny, in that same breath.
Talked to some people about Academy of Friends, but looks like not nearly enough replacements are available, so I’m gonna miss the Reno trip for it, even though I would be following service guidelines.
Tried to help Peggy with her homework, but with my rustiness and inability to communicate ideas more complex than “me hungee,” I think I might have confused her more. Played cards with Drew, John B, John P, Joe M, Kim, Matt, and Quoc. Not all at the same time, though. Gave some ideas to Kim and Matt about what they were doing for Info Night. And got them and a bunch of others to learn the Batman game.
Micro-napped while people weren’t there, and stuck around for ExpressComm. We’re going to be incorporating a lot of suggestions that I got from people, so hopefully you guys will enjoy Expressions this term a lot more.
Went home with Kitty after that. I wasn’t planning on bringing anything to Info Night because I’m poor and I don’t really have food for masses on hand, either, but Kitty and I collaborated and made fried rice for all those lucky potential pledges! That’s such a mouthful… why don’t we just say “rushees” like Kitty does? So yeah, we finished in time to get there at 8, thus ending Kitty’s “I’m late to every APhiO event ever” streak. Info Night was pretty fun, at least the parts I saw. Kitty and I had to go on an emergency plates and cups run because there weren’t enough plates, and no cups at all for the rushees.
After Info Night, headed over to Hickey Gym for Roll Call practice. Even though I have no dancing skillz at all, Roll Call last term was a lot of fun, and I wanted to try it again this term. We have an even bigger group this time, and the routine (or at least what we learned so far) seems cool and not that hard to learn. Oh, and this will be a roll call like you’ve never seen before. Know how the theme is APhiHoedown? We’ll be dancing to, among others, a song very similar to Weird Al’s Achy Breaky Song.
After practice, went home and showered. Was still pumped and looked for something to do, but everyone was passing out. Or doing homework.
??: So yeah, I passed out.
So… how do you guys think I did on yesterday’s table of fault?
