Headstrong

Yesterday… I did some stuff online. Mostly reorganizing the mailing lists. Went to CoHo for hours. It’s been fun to be able to go and just chill in CoHo again. People tried to talk me into every Comm possible yesterday. I was tempted to take up some (like SpiritComm’s Secret Elf project) and less tempted on others (Allan’s WoWComm). But I did get sucked into BComm. It’s going to be so crazy. You may think you know. But unless you went to Walmart with us… you have no idea.

On a completely unrelated matter, Clint wants to start ShameComm, where for a small fee, you can send an Embarrassment-Gram to anyone you know. That’s right. We’re shameless, and we’ll strive to make you the same. :)

OK, went off on a bit of a tangent there, but yeah… we were sitting around in CoHo and got so excited, Peggy, Drew, and I decided to go to Walmart immediately to get BirthdayComm supplies. Randomly ran into my LB in the parking structure and dragged him along, too. Dropped him off at work on our way back and got some Hoa Viet before going to the first active meeting of the term. The highlight of the meeting was definitely Bao and Lo S’s wedding. And immediately after that, Bao tried to sell the Valentine’s Day Crush Fundraiser to the chapter -

“Say, for example, I had a crush on Jackson. I could send him a can for $1.50. And if I pay an extra $3, I can block my identity, so Lo S can never find out it was from me.”- Bao.
“Bao, what about our vows?!”- Lo S, indignantly pointing at his ring.

Then the requirements and budgets were briefly presented and promptly tabled. And then we were out. Onward to Wendy’s, where our first MNR was. I won’t talk too much about it because Brandon’s going to write an article about it for Expressions. Looking forward to it, man!

After that, went home and chatted online for a bit and whored out the Pledge Pool before I realized that I had a project at 6 in the morning and should get some sleep.
