Whoo… a little downtime in a very busy day. A micro-holiday if you will.
Let’s see… what’s been going on in my life lately? Yesterday, I took it easy and stayed home for the majority of the day, finishing up my laundry and watching the Indiana Jones trilogy again. Dr. Jones is my hero. Went to Chapparal Lounge for CPPC, since I had to represent for the F2K4 SAAs. We stood outside the lounge for a while and then found out someone else had reserved it already, so we moved it to Alice C’s place. It was like last CPPC all over again. I talked to Mommy Van, Michow, and Miyama and shared with them my words of wisdom. Damn, I can’t even type that with a straight face. Honestly, I feel like while we weren’t as strict as previous SAAs, we didn’t do that badly of a job. But when it came time to pass on the mantle, felt like they already knew more than I did. Anyways, I spent the rest of the time talking to Erik about plans for the website. We’ve got a lot of stuff to do. And basically two weeks to do it, because even if we implement it in the middle of the term, ExComm will probably wait until next term to use it. Saw the new SAAs talking to Aaron L and Minh T. They’re in better hands with those two giving them advice. Instead of staying for all of CPPC like I did last time, went with Joe M, Jenny Y, Brandon T, and Mei S to Arden to take care of some business. And surprisingly, to give Joe M and Brandon T fashion advice. Why they would listen to the likes of me, I have no idea. I mean… look at me. Look at how I dress. After that, came back to town and headed over to Sophia C’s. We burned the midnight oil to get scrapbook done. I didn’t leave her place until 7 in the morning. And I still had shit to do back at my place.
